For the second straight week, the Bates College Bobcats men's lacrosse is ranked #1 in the nation Division III. It is a program first for the Lewiston school.

The Bobcats are 14-0 and play in the NESCAC semi-final playoff round Saturday against Middlebury and with a win, play in the championship game on Sunday.

Senior Charlie Fay (Falmouth HS) leads Bates with 56 goals and 71 points. He has been named NESCAC Player of the Year.

The NCAA playoffs begin next week and the national championship game will be played at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusettts May 28th.
