While the UMaine women's basketball team gets ready to play in it's first NCAA Tournament since 2004, the opponent, the Texas Longhorns get ready for their 31st NCAA appearance and fifth straight.

Gametime is Saturday at 6pm ET in Austin, Texas and live on ESPN2.

The (26-6) Longhorns lost to Baylor in the Big 12 Conference title game last week and are led by senior guards Brooke McCarty (14 PPG, 5 APG) and Ariel Atkins (15 PPG, 6 PG, 3 SPG). They have helped Texas go 106-31 over the past four seasons. A third guard, Lashann Higgs, is averaging 13 PPG. They also have size with five players 6-foot-3 or taller.

The Longhorns score about 81 points per game while giving up about 64. Their average margin of victory is 17 points.

Texas averaged 4,768 attendance for their 16 home games.
