No Respect For Bears In National Poll?
UMaine football is guaranteed at least a share of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championship and yet today's national polls have the Black Bears ranked as the 5th best team in the CAA and 8th best in another poll.
Lack of respect perhaps?
Below is the STATS FCS weekly poll which keeps UMaine #16 while James Madison, Stony Brook, Elon and Towson all are ranked higher. The Bears have beaten Towson and can win the CAA outright with a victory over Elon this week.
The AFCA Coaches poll has Maine #19 and the 6th best CAA team.
