Brock Holt and David Ortiz each blasted 3-run homers Friday night and the Red Sox beat the Baltimore Orioles 7-5.

The Sox have won the opening game in all six series played so far this season. Their overall record now 10-7, good for a tie for first place in the AL East.

Sox hitters pounded out 10 hits against five different O's pitchers.

Sox starter Rick Porcello pitched the first six innings, giving up four runs. Alexi Ogando got the win in relief and Koji got the save.
