Another injury to report for the New England Patriots. Fullback James Develin has been put on the IR with a neck injury.

That means Develin cannot return for at least eight weeks and he could be lost for the season. He did not play vs the Jets last Sunday.

Even though Develin does not play a lot, this is considered a serious loss for the Pats. He is a big part of blocking for the running game. In fact, Develin was on the field for every rushing TD in the postseason for the past two years.

Look for Jakob Johnson to be the next fullback up. He is a rookie from Germany, part of the NFL International Pathways program.

NOTE: The (3-0) Patriots play in (3-0) Buffalo Sunday at 1pm
