River Hawks Beat Bears 4-1 [VIDEO]

The UMass Lowell River Hawks scored two first period goals and went on to beat the UMaine Black Bears 4-1 in Hockey East action Sunday afternoon.

The Black Bears beat UML Friday night at Alfond Arena so the weekend split leaves Maine at 1-3 in Hockey East and 4-6-2 overall. The River Hawks are 3-1 and 7-3-2.

Dane Gibson scored Maine's lone goal.

The Bears travel to Vermont for a two game series next weekend.
