For just the second time this year, the Red Sox have lost three in a row after losing 6-3 to the Cleveland Indians last night.

It's not the big names like Lindor or Ramirez hurting them. It's no-name players like Bieber and Allen.

Rookie pitcher Shane Bieber held Boston bats silent for six innngs before the Sox scored their three run in the seventh inning. He allowed just five hits and did not walk a batter.

Rookie centerfielder Greg Allen made two terrific catches and drove in a run.

Meanwhile, Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi was hit hard again. 10 hits in 5.1 innings while striking out just two batters.

The lead over the Yankees is down to eight after three straight losses by the Sox. There are two more games in the series with Cleveland.

Live coverage of game three begins at 6:25pm tonight on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
