Sox Try To Get Payback On Machado [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-2 Sunday afternoon and tried to extract some revenge on Manny Machado while winning the game.

First the Boston power surge - Mookie Betts, Hanley Ramirez and Mitch Moreland hit home runs.

Rookie Andrew Benintendi went 5-for-5 on the day.

Lefty Eduardo Rogriguez pitched well and got the win.

Now the drama...In the 8th inning, Matt Barnes threw a pitch high and tight to Machado. The pitch ended up hitting his bat and it was called a foul ball. But, Barnes got ejected from the game.

Remember Machado is the guy who slid hard into second base Friday night, spiking Dustin Pedroia. Pedroia has not played since that play.

The Sox get a day off before beginning a series with the Yankees starting Tuesday night.
