The Red Sox 6-5 Sunday night win over the the Houston Astros had a little bit of everything...two home runs from Xander Bogaerts. Andrew Benintendi guns down the tying run at the plate. Christian Vazquez throws out a runner trying to steal second base to end the game.

And it all took 4-hours and 8-minutes. The 4th four hour game the Sox have played in the past week.

David Price lasted just five innings, giving up eight hits and three runs. But he got credit for the win.

The bullpen pitched four innings, allowing nine base runners but just two runs. Craig Kimbrel finished things with his 20th save.

Bogaerts led the offense with three hits and four RBI. Nobody else had more than one hit.

The Sox win (39-30) combined with another Yankee loss in Oakland puts Boston in a tie for first place in the AL East.

The roadtrip continues tonight for the Sox with the start of a series in Kansas City.
