Sox Win West Coast Opener

Jon Lester dominated the San Francisco Giants to help the Red Sox win their west coast opener 7-0.The start was Lester's best  since early in the season as he went 8.1 innings allowing just 6 singles. The win improves his record to 11-7 on the season.

Shane Victorino and Daniel Nava led the offense with 3 hits and an rbi each. Jarrod Saltalamacchia continued his hot streak at the plate by collecting 2 hits and driving in a run.

Jake Peavy will take the hill tonight looking for his 10th win of the season.
