UMaine goalie Jeremy Swayman is one of five current or incoming Black Bears who have been invited to NHL Team Development camps. Swayman is with the Boston Bruins.

Swayman was drafted by the Bruins in the 4th round of the 2017 NHL Draft and will start his junior year at Maine in the fall.

He started 35 of 36 games for the Bears last year with a14-17-4 record and a 2.78 GAA.

Swayman is one of five goalies in the B's camp that starts today and goes through Friday.

Patrick Shea will be in the Florida Panthers Development Camp and Eduards Tralmaks will be in the Pittsburgh Penquins camp.

Incoming Black Bears JD Greenway (Toronto) and Matthew Thiessen (Vancouver) will also go to camps.

NOTE: Former Black Bears Brady Keeper, Chase Pearson and  Nolan Vesey will also be in NHL Development Camps.
