Voting is Open for the Spring Week 1 High School Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to the following High School Athletes who were nominated for the 92.9 The Ticket Spring Week 1 High School Athlete of Week for performances April 16-19th.

• Addison Atherton - Ellsworth Girls Track and Field - Finished 1st in the Javelin throwing 105-02, nearly 17 feet further than her closest competitor.
• Jesse Booker - Bangor Christian Boys Track and Field - The Junior finished 1st in the 100 Meter Hurdles (17.58) and 300 Meter Hurdles (44.38) in the meet held at Bucksport on April 17th
• Sora Bukoski - Ellsworth Girls Track and Field - The Freshman finished 1st  in the 800 Meter Run (2:52.13 and 1600 Meter Run (6:05.51) in the meet held at MDI on April 18th
• Erik Davis - George Stevens Boys Track and Field - The Senior finished 1st in the 1600 Meter Run (5:06.89) and 3200 Mete Run (11:12.35) in the meet held at Bucksport on April 17th
• Mya Gray - Bucksport Girls Track and Field - The Freshman competing in her 1st outdoor track and field meet finished 1st in the Discus with a throw of 73-04. in the meet held at Bucksport on April 17th
• Maddox Kinney - Hermon Baseball - Went 3-4 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs in an exhibition game against Bucksport.
• Henry Milan - John Bapst Boys Track and Field - Finished 1st in the 1600 Meter Run (4:49.86) and 3200 Meter Run (10:53.89) in the meet held at MDI on April 18
• Ruby Pereira - Bucksport Girls Track and Field - The Senior finished 1st in the Pole Vault with a jump of 7-06 and 1st in the Long Jump with a jump of 15-00.00 in the meet held at Bucksport on April 17th
• Reece Renwick - George Stevens Boys Track and Field - The Sophomore finished 1st in the Long Jump (19-02.50) and Triple Jump (36-04.50) in the meet held at Bucksport on April 17th
• Haley Rose - Bucksport Girls Track and Field - The Junior finished 1st in the 100 meter Dash (13.80)  and 200 Meter Dash (27.30)  in the meet held at Bucksport on April 17th
• Madison Rose - Bucksport Girls Track and Field - The Junior finished 1st in the 100 Meter Hurdles (17.36) and 300 Meter Hurdles (50.20) in the meet held at Bucksport on April 17th

Voting is now open, and will remain so until Thursday night, April 24th at 11:59 p.m. YOU CAN VOTE ONCE PER HOUR. We will announce the winner on Friday, April 25th. Good luck to all! 

Nominations for the Athlete of the Week are now open for performances April 21-26.   Please email your nomination to chris.popper@townsquaremedia.com, letting us know why the individual should be the Athlete of the Week. Please include stats, and make sure you indicate what school this individual attends, and what sport they're playing! All nominations should be received by Sunday, April 27th. Voting for Week 2 will take place April 28- May 1st with the winner being announced on Friday, May 2nd.
