Weather Forces Zone 1 Game Suspension

The thunder and lightning would not leave the area long enough last night for the American Legion Zone 1 Tournament play-in game to be completed so there's a schedule change for the event today.

#4 Skowhegan leads #5 Post 51(Messalonskee) 1-0 in the 2nd inning at Winkin Complex at Husson University and that where the game was suspended. The game will resume from that spot at approximately 6pm this evening.

Here's the new Friday tourney schedule...

AMERICAN LEGION ZONE 1 TOURNEY

3pm   #2 Hampden  vs  #3 Brewer

6pm   Resume Play-in Game (Skowhegan leading Post 51 1-0, 2nd Inn)

8pm   #1 Bangor  vs  Winner of Play-In Game

NOTE: The Legion tourney continues with three games Saturday and then the championship round on Sunday. Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and 929theticket.com has live coverage of the championship game Sunday at 1pm.
