Red Sox pitchers struck out 20 batters while the hitters combined for 10 hits, two of them home runs, and it all spelled a 6-2 over Texas last night in the rain and wind at Fenway.

The Sox sweep the three game series vs the Rangers.

Drew Pomeranz struck out 11 in his six innings of work. He got the win.

Craig Kimbrel actually struck out four batters in the 9th inning as one batter reached base on a wild pitch.

The offense got home runs from Xander Bogaerts and Deven Marrero. Mitch Moreland and Christian Vazquez each had two hits.

The Sox are 25-21 and have a four game win streak going. The Seattle Mariners come to town over the weekend.
