The Bangor American Legion baseball team had their run in the state tourney stopped as Windham walked off with a 5-4 win.The Comrades trailed the entire game until the top of the 8th inning when Hunter Boyce singled in the tying run to make it 3-3. Sam Stanhope then followed up with an rbi single of his own giving Bangor a 4-3 lead, their first of the game.

In the bottom of the 9th Windham loaded the bases before pushing in the tying run. Dennis Meehan stepped to the plate next and delivered a hit to center field to drive in the game winning run.

Windham now plays Westbrook for the state championship.
