The Boston Red Sox scored eight times in the 2nd inning and were on the way to an 11-1 laugher win over the Minnesota Twins Saturday afternoon.

These type of games have been rare for the Sox so far this season.

Chris Young hit two solo home runs. Xander Bogaerts, Andrew Benintendi and Sandy Leon all had three hits each.

Rick Porcello pitched seven innings, giving up just the one run, seven hits. He struck out six and didn't walk a batter.

Sox are now 16-14 with Chris Sale on the hill Sunday.
