The 30th of the Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl turned out to be all West. A 60-14 victory in the heat and humidity at Thornton Academy in Saco. The 60 points is the most ever scored in a Lobster Bowl game.

The West All Stars led 21-0 after one quarter, 48-14 at halftime and 60-14 after three.

West running back Tyler Bridge rushed for over 100 yards. Quarterbacks Carter Edgerton and Tommy Springer both threw for over 100 yards.

 

East MVPs: Defense - John Bell (Mt. Blue HS), Offense - Marcus Christopher (Skowhegan HS)

West MVPs: Defense - Tucker Buzzell (Fryeburg Academy), Offense - Anthony Bracamonte (Thornton Academy)

NOTE: East head coach Dan O'Connell (John Bapst HS) and West head coach Bill County were presented with the first-ever Mike Haley Award for service to the Lobster Bowl. Haley, a long time football coach and administrator, passed away last August.
