AE Field Hockey Poll: UMaine Picked #2

America East Conference field hockey coaches think UMaine and UAlbany will battle it out again for the top spot in the East Division of AE.

The Black Bears and Great Danes, both nationally ranked, have been rivals for several years.

UMaine is coming off a 16-5 season and a final national ranking of #19 in the NFHCA national poll

Three of the top six points leaders return for coach Josette Babineau.

The Bears open the season August 30th with a non-conference game vs Rutgers.
