New York Mets rookie slugger Pete Alonso continues his historic power season using a Maine-made bat from a piece of good Maine wood.

Alonso blasted home run #50 in the Friday night game vs Cincinnati. Check the bat logo and you can see 'DTB' which stands for Dove Tail Bats. The bat making company in tiny Shirley, Maine in Piscataquis County.

His 50 home runs leads major league baseball. Alzonso and Aaron Judge (52). are the only two rookies in baseball history to club 50 homers.

At 24-years-old and 287 days, only Willie Mays and Prince Fielder were younger to hit 50 home runs.

Alonso is batting .266 with 50 homers and 115 RBI.
