Bears Drop Finale, #5 Seed…For Now

The UMaine baseball team lost its regular season finale to Hartford 12-7 but the Bears will have to wait a day to find out their seed for next week's America East Tournament.

Maine finishes with an AE record of 12-12 (18-32 overall). The Bears and Stony Brook  are tied at 12-12 but the Seawolves own the tiebreaker.

At the moment, the Black Bears are in 5th place.

But UMBC and Albany are having trouble getting their games in down in Baltimore. A Saturday game has been cancelled and a doubleheader is still on for Sunday. Those games will have a big impact on the final seedings.
