UMaine baseball splits an America East Sunday twinbill with UMBC, winning the first game 10-7 and losing the second one 9-6.

The split puts the Black Bears at 4-10 AE and 17-24 overall.

GAME 1: Maine trailed in this one until scoring four runs in the 7th inning and another two runs in the 8th...Tyler Schwanz and Hermen Saradinas hit home runs for the Bears...Cody Lawyerson got the win in relief, Jeff Gelinas got the save.

GAME 2: It was role reversal in this one. The Retrievers scored six runs over the final two innings to win...Lawyerson took the loss in relief...Christian Torres had a home run for UMBC.

NOTE: The Black Bears host a three game series vs UMass Lowell next weekend at Mahaney Diamond.
