Bronco Wins District Title, Begins LLWS Quest

For the Bronco Little League 11/12s All Star team, the road to Williamsport begins. An 8-0 win over Old Town last night means Bronco is the District #3 champion.

The road to the Little League World Series now takes them to the Maine State LL Tournament in Lewiston. If the team is successful there, it's on to the LL New England Regional Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut and then it would be on to Williamsport.

The (5-1) Bronco team got two singles and a triple from Kaysen Wildman in the winner-take-all game. He drove in five runs.

Josh Lorenzo and Wildman combined to pitch a three-hit shutout over Old Town.

NOTE: The District #3 winner receives the 'The Stevenson Cup', honoring longtime LL volunteers Bob and Yovanne Stevenson. Bob, who passed away in 2017, was District #3 Administrator. Yovanne is still involved with volunteer efforts on behalf of LL.
