When Red Sox outfielder Rusney Castillo took a swing during the game against Boston College he felt soreness in his side and he left the game. An MRI today reveals a strained oblique injury.

Mananger John Farrell says "he'll be out more than a week".

It is uncertain what this means for Castillo breaking camp with the Red Sox.

Castillo signed a $72-million-dollar deal with the Sox late last season and got 40 at bats down the stretch.

Farrell says Mookie Betts and Jackie Bradley Jr will share time during spring games.

The Sox play the Minnesota Twins tonight in the first major league exhibition game.
