Eagles Top NAC Hoops Preseason Poll

North Atlantic Conference women's basketball coaches have selected the Husson Eagles as the team to beat in the annual preseason poll. Maine Maritime Academy is picked as a very close second.

The new look NAC now includes two new schools - UMaine Presque Isle and SUNY-Canton in New York. Gone from the NAC are Castleton, Green Mountain College, NEC and Colby-Sawyer.

Coach Kissy Walker and her Husson Eagles are three-time defending conference champs and will be led by three-time All-Conference pick Kenzie Worcester.

Coach Craig Dagan and his MMA Mariners return the top three scorers from last year's team, including All-Conference pick Alayne Felix. The Mariners lost to the Eagles in last year's championship game.
