Felix Sets MMA Scoring Record

Alayne Felix is the new all-time scoring leader at Maine Maritime Academy and Craig Dagan is now a 300 win coach after the Mariners beat UMaine Farmington 66-47 Friday night.

Felix passed Michelle Gott-Miles and her 1,600 career points. She scored 12 and now has 1,606.

Dagan, in his 18th season, gets win #300.

Megan McLean led the Mariners with 15 points.

MMA is now 5-2 in the NAC (11-5 overall). UMF is 5-3 and 5-13.

NOTE: UMF won the men's game, 95-72. Riley Robinson led the Beavers with 24 points. Nick DePatsy had 21 for the Mariners...UMF (7-1 NAC, 11-6 overall), MMA 4-3 NAC, 8-8 overall).
