
Flaherty Agrees To $1.8M Deal With O’s
Mainer Ryan Flaherty has agreed to a $1.8M one year deal with the Baltimore Orioles and in the process avoids going to arbitration.
Flaherty is a favorite of manager Buck Showalter because he can play six different positions. He has been with the O's for five years and will become a free agent after this season.
Flaherty is the son of University of Southern Maine baseball coach Ed Flaherty.
He hit .217 with 3 homers and 17 RBI in 176 plate appearances last season.
