Former UMaine and Edward Little basketball standout Troy Barnies will be playing professional basketball in Europe for at least another year.

Barnies, who played with the Black Bears from 2007-11, announced via his twitter this week that he will be returning to play for Atomerőmű SE in Hungary for this upcoming season.  It will be the seventh professional season for the former Red Eddie forward in Europe.

Last season with Szolnoki Olaj in Hungary in 47 games Barnies scored 10.26 points per contest and chipped in five rebounds.  In his six year career he has played with Istanbulspor, Salon Vilpas, BK Jekaplis, BK Ventspils, Atomerőmű SE, and Szolnoki Olaj.
