Gallop Voted Athlete of Week

Hermon High School soccer player Sydney Gallop has won this week's online vote for Athlete of the Week.

Over 2,500 votes came in at 929theticket.com this week and the final results were very close in a five-way group.

Gallop garnered 27.5% of the votes as she helped the Hawks to an undefeated regular season. She scored eight goals during a three win week for Hermon. She finished the season with 32 goals.

Other top vote-getters included Bangor football player Joey Morrison with  25% of the votes and John Bapst football player Rhett McDonald with 23 % of the votes.
