Grande And Max Entertain Celtics Fans In Bangor
Boston Celtics radio broadcasters Sean Grande and Cedric Maxwell delighted fans at the Sea Dog Brew Pub on Front Street in Bangor on Tuesday, as they talked about the current top seeded team in the Eastern Conference.
Over 100 fans in attendance laughed and listened intently as the long-time broadcasters talked about the Cs and the great season had so far by the team. Grande joked that they had wanted to make the trip to Bangor before, but wanted to wait until the team was in first place in the conference to do so.
Attendees were able to ask questions that ranged from resting players, the outlook of the 2016-17 Cs, and the future of the team in green. Grande and Max answered inquiries for almost two hours and signed autographs after the event as well.
Both Grande and Maxwell had been in the state of Maine before, as the former broadcast UMaine hockey games at the Alfond Arena in the past, while Cornbread made his return to the Pine Tree state after playing in exhibition games during his playing career.
The broadcast team talked about their unlikely pairing and said that their differences helped make them work together so well. They also divulged that they don't hangout personally much outside of the work environment, but do have an annual tradition in San Antonio dedicated to team bonding.
Grande and Max will be back on the airwaves again on Wednesday night as the Boston Celtics host the Milwaukee Bucks and you can hear the game starting at 7 p.m. on the Ticket.
