Lewiston's Isaiah Harris has to settle for second place in the 800M event at the USA Track & Field Championships in Iowa. As it turns out, the race was his first as a pro runner. He signed with Flynn Sports and Nike before the race, giving up his amateur status.

That means he gives up his remaining college eligibility at Penn State. Harris won the NCAA Outdoor 800M event for Penn State earlier in the month.

Harris was beaten by another Nike runner, Clayton Murphy. His time was 1:46.50. Harris ran a time of 1:47.11
