Bangor Rams goalie Jacob Henry is a semi-finalist for the 24th annual Travis Roy Award, given to the top senior player in Class A high school hockey.

The eight player semi-final list includes four forwards, two defensemen and two goalies.

It just so happens that the two goalies meet tonight in the semi-final round of the North Region playoffs. Henry and the Rams take on Gaston Fuksa of Saint Dom's.

Henry's numbers are impressive - an 11-3 record, 1.14 goals against average and a save percentage of .943.

He is the third Bangor goalie to earn semi-final Travis Roy Award  status since 2012. Goalies Chris Howatt (2012) and Derek Fournier (2017) were also up for the honor.

Bangor has one Travis Roy winner, forward Parker Sanderson in 2013.
