Hockey East Gets 2 Teams In Frozen Four

Hockey East will have  half of the field in college hockey's Frozen Four Championship. The Providence College Friar shutout Cornell 4-0 Sunday to join the UMass Minutemen in the title weekend coming up next month.

Goalie Hayden Hawkey stopped all 19 Big Red shots. The Friars are 24-11-6.

Providence won the national championshp in 2015.

The Friars will play either Quinnipiac or Minn-Duluth.

UMass punched its ticket to the Frozen Four Saturday and will play Denver.
