The final game of the regular season will take place between Houlton and Hermon Wednesday night from Hermon High School in the Class B North girls side of things

The match-up will be the second time this season that the two teams have played, and also will be a rematch of the Northern Maine championship game last February.  Houlton won the prior match-up in 2017 with a 58-51 victory.

The Shiretowners have only lost one game on the season, losing a home contest by one point to Presque Isle back on January 18th.  Houlton won the State Championship last season, and are led by junior Kolleen Bouchard who is averaging 26.4 points per game.

The Hermon side has lost to Houlton, Presque Isle, and Foxcroft Academy on the year and currently sit in fourth place in the Class B standings.  The Hawks are currently on a two-game winning streak and are 7-1 while playing at home.  Emi Higgins is the leading scorer with 8.4 points per contest, while Lauren Plissey is averaging 8.1 points and 9.5 rebounds.
