There's another Mainer in the Bentley College basketball 1,000 point club and he is Chris Hudson from Hodgdon High School.

The 6-foot-5 senior scored 23 points Tuesday night in a 96-87 Bentley win over Assumption College. Hudson now has 1, 015 points nine games into his last season.

He becomes the 54th Falcons player to reach a thousand career points with several of the players from Maine.

The list includes Bentley's all-time scorer, Tyler McFarland (Camden Hills HS) with 2,118 points. Keegan Hyland (South Portland HS) finished with 1,373 points.  Charlie Wooton (Camden High School and now Maine Basketball Hall of Famer) finished his Bentley career with 1,365 points. Alex Furness (Wells HS) scored 1.074 points. Mike Mastropaulo (Falmouth HS) had 1,014 points. Gary Eckmann (Longtime Maine McDonald's owner/operator) finished with exactly 1,000 points.

Hudson helped the Hodgdon Hawks win the Class D Maine state championship in 2014 before moving on to prep school.

NOTE: The Tuesday night win for the Falcons gives them a 7-1 record (2-0 in Northeast 10 Conference). Bentley is ranked 30th nationally in Division II polls.
