Husson Football On 92.9 The Ticket

Three games remain in the regular season and when the Husson football team plays SUNY Maritime today they will try to stay undefeated in the ECFC.Husson enters the game 5-1 overall but are still undefeated in conference play at 4-0 and have not lost an ECFC game in two years.

The Husson defense is ranked 5th in the nation allowing just over 200 yards a game and is led by their trio of linebackers Ellis Throckmorton, Alonzo Connor and Bryant Wade who have combined for 112 tackles.

Gabby Price's offense as been well balanced this year as quarterback Joe Seccareccia has thrown for 1,120 yards and 16 touchdowns. When they go to the ground, running back John Smith has racked up 953 yards and 12 scores.

SUNY-Maritime won three of its first four games but have struggled lately dropping their last three games by a combined score of 103-69.
