Husson University basketball teams each posted wins against Lyndon State on Saturday afternoon and in the process remain undefeated in conference play.Warren Caruso's men's team cruised to an 84-62 win while the women took care of the Hornets 71-64.

In the men's game Trevon Butler had a monster game with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals while helping the Eagles grab a 13 point lead at halftime, a lead the Hornets could never erase.

Raheem Anderson also scored double figures with 13 points while Jordan Holmes and Martavious Lockhart each had 9 as the Eagles improve to 9-3 and 7-0 in the North Atlantic Conference.

Defense was a major factor once again in the Eagles win as they forced 33 Lyndon State turnovers and came away with 23 steals.

Kenzie Worcester scored a game high 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds to help the women's team move to 7-0 in the conference and 9-3 overall.

The Eagles wasted little time jumping on the Hornets by out scoring them 22-6 in the first quarter and never looked back. Vicki McIntyre continues to play well for Kissy Walker's team by posting a 20 point performance. Joan Overman and Kylie Richards each added 8 points to the Eagles cause.
