The #7 Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team stunned the #2 Old Town Coyotes 49-46 in a Class B Quarterfinal on Friday, February 13th at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Old Town took a 14-10 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. Bagley had all 10 points for Ellsworth, while Sophia Morgan had 6 points on 2 3's for the Coyotes.

In the 3rd Quarter Ellsworth took a 34-33 lead. Elizabeth Boles who had been scoreless for the Eagles, had 6 points. Madden had another 3-pointer for Old Town.

With 20.1 seconds left, and Old Town leading 46-45 Kaylee Bagley was fouled, and sank both free throws for the Eagles to put them up 47-46. Old Town brought the ball up, and Allie Bivins took a charge with 6.7 seconds left in the game. The play forced Bivins out of the game after bumping her head.
