The Ellsworth Eagles Volleyball Team beat the Nokomis Warriors 3-0 in Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth Monday night, September 25th.

The individual set scores were 25-22, 25-16 and 25-16.
Individual standouts for the Ellsworth Eagles included
  • Charly Weaver - 3 aces, 5 assists and 4 digs.
  • Olivia Harmon - 2 aces, 10 assists and 1 dig.
  • Brielle Grindle - 5 aces, 6 kills and 2 digs.
  • Allie Neleski - 1 ace, 4 kills and 2 digs.
  • Brooke Pirie - 6 kills and 1 dig.
Coach Dyer added, "The girls continue to take care of business and earned the win. We are now halfway through our season and every match counts in the standings. We remain focused on our goal to make the post-season and today gets us one step closer."
The Eagles, now 5-2, return to the court on Thursday, September 28th at 6 p.m. when they host the Brewer Witches
Nokomis is 1-7. The Warriors will host Maranacook on Wednesday, September 27th at 5:30 p.m.
