MDI Volleyball Beats Brewer 3-0

The MDI Trojans Volleyball Team beat the Brewer Witches 3-0 at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor on Thursday, October 12th. The individual set scores were 25-12, 25-23 and 25-23.

Individual MDI Standouts included:

Lauren Davis: 3 aces, 7 kills, 1 assist, 9 digs
Lexi Tozier: 8 aces, 5 kills, 7 digs
Hailey Vogell: 2 aces, 5 kills, 2 blocks, 4 digs
Denali Wagstaff: 2 aces, 2 kills, 6 assists, 2 digs

According to MDI Corey Papadapoli

It was good to see the team take this match and close out two close sets. They served and hit well and were solid at the net. Serve receive could use some work but overall it was a solid performance

Brewer concludes their regular season at 4-10.

MDI is now 4-8 with 2 games left in the regular season. They will host Yarmouth on Saturday, October 14th at 1:30 p.m. and then finishes the regular season hosting Ellsworth on Tuesday, October 17th at 6 p.m.
