Patriots QB Drake Maye Surprises Maine Vet With Super Bowl Tix

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was in Portland recently to surprise a Maine veteran who served in the United States Army.

Matt Jabaut lives in Lewiston Maine and served as a Staff Sgt in the US Army and was a combat medic from 1997 to 2005. Matt's been a Mainer all his life, so of course he's been a Patriots fan all his life too, just like most of us living in New England.

The surprise visit from Drake Maye was arranged by USAA and the NFL.

To set up the meeting, Matt was asked to come to the American Legion in Portland to be interviewed in a discussion about the American Legion. Not long after he sat down for the interview, Maye walked in and said hello to him. The look on Matt's face was priceless but the surprise was just beginning.

Tickets to Super Bowl LIX

Not only was Matt thrilled to meet Maye, but he was just as thrilled to find out he was going to Super Bowl LIX and held two giant tickets proudly in his hands. After thanking Drew for his amazing gift, Matt took him on a tour of the Portland American Legion showing off its rich history through photos and memorabilia.
