South Berwick's Devin Powell has a date set for his second fight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship promotion coming up in the summer.

Powell is looking for his first win in the UFC's octagon and will face off against David Horcher (12-2) out of Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania at UFC Fight Night 112 in Oklahoma City.

The former New England Fights lightweight champion is coming off a loss in his UFC debut this January after his went down via unanimous decision to Drakkar Klose at UFC Fight Night 103, when the latter became a late replacement to the card.  Powell was on a six-fight win streak prior to the loss and had picked up a submission victory over Jon Lemke of Team Irish in Bangor this past August in-front of Dana White at the Cross Insurance Center.

Horcher has not fought in a year since taking a short notice fight with lightweight title contender Khabib Nurmagomedov in April of 2016, but had sported a five fight win streak with the CFFC promotion before making his UFC debut in the bout.  Horcher fights out of Unrivaled Athletics.

Powell will join fellow Mainer Tim Boetsch who will co-main event the card by fighting with Johnny Hendricks.  The lightweight fighter is the owner of the Nostos MMA gym in Somerworth, New Hampshire and set to be married in August to his fiance Carol.
