Johnny Manziel spent his first day as a Hamilton Tiger Cats CFL player mostly observing and learning about the Canadian Football League. But when he does get up to speed he could be throwing the ball to a former UMaine Black Bear - Damarr Aultman.

While Manziel is one of six quarterbacks in training camp, Aultman (wears #87) is one of 19 wide receivers in camp for the Ticats.

Aultman played for the Black Bears from 2011-2014, catching 18 TDs and over 2,000 yards in his four years. He also ran back punts.

He spent time with the Miami Dolphins in 2015 and 2016.

Last June, Aultman was added to the Hamilton practice squad and ended up playing in seven Tiger-Cats games. He caught seven balls for 123 yard and two TDs. Aultman also returned punts and  kickoffs.

Manziel, Aultman and the Tiger-Cats play their first preseason game June 1st.

The first Hamilton CFL regular season game is June 16th.
