Martin Joins 1,000 Point Club

Husson Eagles senior Justin Martin joined the school's 1,000 point club during last night's regular season finale win vs Maine Maritime Academy.

The former Winslow HS standout now has 1,002 points in 106 career games. He becomes the 50th Eagles player to reach a thousand points.

Along with the points, Martin has hauled down 916 rebounds at Husson and has 198 blocked shots.

The rebound total puts him 6th in school history and his blocked shots total is a school record.

NOTE: Two Vermont teams will play each other today to conclude the NAC regular season schedule. No matter what happens in that game, UMaine Farmington (11-3) will be the #1 seed and Husson (11-3) will be the #2 seed. The teams split on the regular season but UMF beat #3 SUNY-Canton twice while Husson split.

On the women's side, Husson (13-1) will be the top seed. Maine Martime Academy (12-2) will be the #2 seed.
