Mayo Showing His Skills To NBA Teams [VIDEO]
Former Messalonskee High School standout Nick Mayo has been busy trying to show his hoops skills ahead of the NBA Draft tomorrow night. Adding in a workout for the Charlotte Hornets this week, Mayo has now worked out for nine different NBA teams.
The 6-foot-9 Mayo finished a brilliant college career at Eastern Kentucky University earlier in the year. He scored over 2,000 points and owns the school record. There are only two rounds in the NBA Draft so many players like Mayo are trying to enough to get a free agent deal.
His workouts around the NBA started with the LA Lakers in early May. The latest one was with Charlotte yesterday. In between, Mayo has worked out for the Pistons, Grizzlies, Nets, Kings, Magic, Mavs and 76ers.
