
Millan Scores 18, Bears Beat BC
The UMaine women's basketball team finishes its long non-conference journey with a win over the ACC's Boston College, 61-40. Bring on the America East schedule.
At Chestnut Hill in Boston last night, the Black Bears outscored the Eagles 24-6 in the third quarter to put the game away.
Blanca Millan led the Bears with 18. Julie Brosseau had 14.
While Maine shot just 37% from the field, BC shot 29%. And, the Bears forced 21 turnovers.
Maine finishes the tough non-conference schedule at 7-6 and starts America East play next Wednesday night with a home game vs Stony Brook.
