Former Bangor High School swimmer Emma Waddell captains her Williams College team at the NCAA Division III Championships starting today in Indianapolis.

The senior has had a remarkable career for the Ephs swim program. Three national championship wins, including two last year (50-yard Freestyle, 100-yard Butterfly). She was named NCAA Swimmer of the Year.

Williams College team finished in second place in the D-III national championships.

Waddell's final NCAA appearance will include seven events beginning today through Saturday. She is the top seed in two of the three individual events and Waddell will also compete in four relay team events.

Today:  50-yard Freestyle, 200-yard Medley Relay

Thursday:  100-yard Butterfly, 200-yard Freestyle Relay, Medley Relay

Saturday:  100-yard Freestyle, 400-yard Freestyle Relay
