Matt Morris made 40 saves to help the UMaine hockey team beat New Hampshire 4-0 and sweep their weekend series.Despite getting outshot 40-21, the Bears were able to beat Wildcats for the second time in as many nights. The 40 saves by Morris matches his career high and earns him his fourth win of the season.

The Bears got the only goal they would need when Liam Pecarano scored his third goal of the season 10:17 into the first period. Maine would add three more goals in the third period with Cam Brown, Nolan Vesey and Steven Swavely all finding the back of the net.

Maine has won 6 of their last 8 games and improve to 10-15-1 overall, 5-7 in Hockey East. The Bears return to Alfond Arena on Friday to host the UConn Huskies.
