The Husson Eagles and the Castleton State Spartans settle for a Saturday afternoon split of their men's and women's hoops conference doubleheader.

The Eagles men's team stayed unbeaten in the NAC with an 89-74 win. The women's took its first conference loss, 71-56.

Husson Men 89  Castleton 74: Raheem Anderson, fresh off reaching the 2,000 career point total Friday night, pumped in another 24 against the Spartans.

The Eagles scored 24 points off 20 Castleton turnovers. And, Husson's bench outscored the Spartans bench 40-28.

Husson is now 4-0 in the NAC, 6-1 overall. Castleton is now 2-3 and 4-6.

Castleton Women 71  Husson 56: Kenzie Worcester scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds but it really was a tough shooting for the Eagles. As a team, Husson was just 19-for-59 (32%) from the field. The Spartans shot nearly 49%.

Mikayla Farrara led Castleton with 21 points.

The Eagles fall to 3-1 in the NAC, 3-3 overall. The Spartans take over the top spot in the conference now at 5-0 and 9-0 overall.
