NCAA: Husson 4 WNE 4, Game Suspended

The Husson University softball NCAA Regional game with Western New England is on hold until play is resumed Sunday morning at 10:30am.

The losers bracket game was suspended because of darness Saturday evening with the score tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 6th inning. The Eagles have runners at first and second with no one out.

The winner advances to play Amherst in another losers bracket game. The loser is eliminated.

Trailing 4-1 into the bottom of the 5th inning, the Eagles scored twice in their 5th inning and have one run so far in the 6th inning.

NOTE: The top seed in the regional, Williams College, scored an 11-0 win over Amherst to move into the regional championship round.
