NCAA T&F: Steelman Finishes Third
Former Orono High School standout runner Hannah Steelman got a third place finish in the 3000m Steeplechase event at the NCAA Division I Track & Field Championships in Texas on Saturday night.
Now a sophomore at Wofford College in South Carolina, Steelman ran a personal best time of 9:46.08.
The winning time was 9:9:35.73 by Allie Ostrander from Boise State.
Steelman also competed in the 5000m event and finished in 8th place.
The 3rd place and 8th place finishes earns her All-American status in both events.
